After running prime95 on my computer before cleaning, the CPU temperatures levelled out at a whopping 65’c, not only does this act as a nice radiator for my computer room, it also puts more thermal stress on the components of the PC and means it has to work harder to get the job done.
After cleaning the computer, it was nearly 15’c cooler in CPU cores and 3-4’c cooler overall.
So do it and save yourself an expensive mistake in the future
