Affiliate Earnings September 2026

How much did I earn in September 2026?

No major changes this month, just focussing on goals. My website is doing good overall, and my old target was around £5 per month consistently, I feel like I’m earning this now, so new goal is now £10 per month consistently, then £20 after that.

My rankings slipped a bit for Youfibre / Virgin Media articles, not sure if it was naturally like that or just because of the attacks. I’m not fussed either way, just planning for everything else.

Website traffic was average 25.1k unique users and 42k page views. I’ve been continuing on with my Disavow and spammy links, but spending more time researching now, traffic has slightly improved. It will be even better for next month, not sure how but one day I had almost 10x as much traffic for no reason. I have limited membership with Ahrefs and Semrush, but they’re good enough for what I need for now. Semrush is a really good tool, but fuck paying £200+ every single month. My mindset may change when I get more traffic, which is why I need to concentrate on that and CTR first.

HEALTH, WEALTH and ALL ELSE

  • Health, so so. Physically I feel fine, I think my nerves trapped are a bit worse, other than always tired, where I work means I get up early and get home quite late so I don’t get much me time. Mentally though, I’d have to say I feel so so. The state of the UK is depressing if I’m honest, it feels like the Government are trying to bankrupt England or ruin it. There’s so much good that could be done in the UK if money was actually spent, and instead the socialist elite decide to waste it and benefit themselves off others backs. I’m not going to dwindle on it too much because I could quite happily go on forever about the UK Government. Quite frankly, I don’t need to, I think eventually the riots will start happening, and the threat levels are going to spike when people start taking things into their own hands because they’re so sick of having no money, rising fuel prices, rising energy prices, rising taxes. Then the Government get away with it. As far as I’m concerned, they’ve dug their own graves, and eventually they will be dealing with the consequences of it. I’m just trying to stay positive and focus on my own goals so I don’t have to rely on a job, or the UK Government for anything.
  • Wealth, nothing major. My auto investments are trundling along nicely on auto pilot, 28th of the month a huge bunch of money leaves my bank so I can forget about not investing now. I made a mistake this month though as I put the wrong amount in, so I ended up investing £775 rather than £650 but it’s amended now. I reduced it by £100 so my bank balance could build up. My safety / emergency funds are increasing, technically I could leave my job now and not have to work for around 15-18 months if I felt like it, however I’d have no further savings, so I’m just leaving them to build up. The option is there for me, I have no debts or mortgage, so I’m not reliant on anything other than a wage now to keep me going and work on my bills. I’ve been spending a lot of time with chatgpt lately, it’s an amazing app when you get used to it. Helped me plan out my goals and finances on how I want them and also ideas for my website, especially to do with SEO. So I’ll be driving on that next.
  • All Else, nothing related to car worth mentioning. As noted above I’ve started using chatgpt, so been asking plenty of questions for SEO, ideas and Businesses with my website there. One of the major things with my SEO was a suggestion on changing the layout / design of some pages so it assists Google finding and indexing my articles. Most of my articles have a huge number of impressions but a low CTR, so looking at improving that first. I also got a path laid out to developing affiliate links and networks so I’ll be looking at that. As for the projects on the website, I’m considering using Laravel as I intend to have customer databases with fancy info and apparently it’s recommended over PHP. I dunno, more to learn I suppose. Problem is making time. I have about a 3 hour window when I get home to get things done and normally when I’m at home I just want to chill. Might need to plan myself better, I need to be in the mindset of getting my arse in gear when I get home, or using the full weekends to be productive. I’m OK when I get going I go full speed, it’s just getting my arse in gear to give me a shove to do it. Maybe I should just think do I want to be poor and get nowhere in life and change my life mindset?

On a good note, I’ve fixed my 3D printer, so that’s back in operation now. I also purchased myself some yellow PLA filament so that I can try printing out new things. I have a couple ideas for moulds so I think I’ll start sketching them in blender to get a basic understanding and go from there. I also purchased some ballscrews for my CNC project. However I screwed up, I forgot I purchased ballscrews previously *thought they were rails* so now have two sets, and they’re items I can’t return. Oh well, means I have a spare set for another machine now 🙂
