How much did I earn in July 2024?
I reached the payout threshold, and got paid out this month for my Google adsense, so my Website/”Business” bank account is sitting with an extra £60.72 in it now. I earn less than £1000 per year on my website, so as a Business don’t need to clare any earnings. I just keep the money in a seperate account as it simplifies things for me and helps me track it all. It basically becomes a spending acount for things on eBay that I need for my car, or want to purchase. Free money essentially.
Performance has been slow this month, I’ve been constantly deciding if I wat to get rid of adsense entirely. As all the extra scripts loading are slowing it down but it’s another source of income currently for the site

Monthly admin thoughts
I’m working on redeveloping the site, looking at buying some HTML teplates, as I’ve been meaning to use a better one on the website. Doing some work on my projects to pass the time, and focussing on the weather station again. Just recently installed Allsky, so need to hook up that to a solar panel for some testing, and then 3D print a mount for the dome to retain it
My website hosting fees have increased slightly by 28%, so around £8.95 per month is the new goal now. I’ve booking looking around spending £100 on website fees as in SEO. I really want to get Semrush, but at the moment I can’t justify spending the £139 basic fee each month to resolve the SEO, although I’ve used it before would be great for research. Affiliate marketing is just part of this website, a lot of it is SEO, as this helps with pages. Not sure how to do backlinks. I don’t really want to buy traffic, need to find some sites where I can post to, and host my username or website URL to generate some traffic that way. As always just keep writing
