I’m looking for suppliers of the following, as I seem to have difficulty sourcing them when searching online. So I’d be interested in developing relationships for sourcing the following with the aim of reselling their product on this site
These would be for a Milwaukee die grinder. As Milwaukee seem to supply 8mm and 6mm collets with their Die Grinder tools, however most sellers seem to sell wire wheels with Hex shanks, or advertise 6mm shanks when they’re actually 6.35mm shanks I’m looking for suppliers of the below
- Wire Wheels with 6mm (NOT 6.35mm) round shanks (for use with die grinders)
- 8mm to 6.35mm round shank collet adapter
- 8mm to 6.35mm hex shank collet adapter (for using wire brushes designed with drills)
Reasoning :
I’d like to personally use my wire wheels (rather than my drill) for cleaning my brake calipers, refurbishing metal and any other metal removal with my die grinder. However most wire wheels are sold with a 6.35mm round shank. Or a 6.35mm Hex shank (for drills). The above would allow you to use a true 6mm round shank, or an adapter with an 8mm collet so that smaller brushes could be used for rapid cleaning
As DIY’ers people are responsible for their own safety. So I’m personally comfortable taking risks myself, as would anyone using their own tools.
I’d be looking at purchasing / sampling items for my own personal use first, if I was happy with them I’d look into reselling
