How much did I earn in November 2024?
No real change, about the average amount earned for this website. I’ve bene looking more into my articles with higher amounts of traffic as there’s a few on my site now where I’m ranked #1 in Google and going to start reaching out in order to see if I can form referral relationships and deeplinking. If I can abandon the networks I’m using I will, there’s far too many scripts in use which affects my site performance. I just want to minimise it so that I’m using only text links, or a simple referral banner
For now though it will do, figures below as usual

Monthly admin thoughts
I’m still currently using Semrush, can’t really complain with it, the data it offers is immense, so whilst I’m working on building money with affiliate networks. Semrush helps me to identify the articles or errors on my website that needs improvement.
My website errors have majorly decreased so this has helped me with SEO, still don’t like paying the money, but I figure it’s better than paying a few thousand per month for a major SEO firm for a small website.
I made a few sales on eBay partner network, I’ve also joined Impact for affiliate stuff to try and identify new networks to use to see if their perfomance is better .
The main slow point with my website isn’t the ranking as a lot of the articles I’ve written are highly ranked. It’s more down to the keywords I want are highly competitive .
An example article is one like my Bonnet Catch Replacement, I’m highly ranked on this one, but according to Semrush, it’s only searched about 100 times per month. So as someone to make affiliate earnings with affiliate networks .Every time I make a sale on eBay for this, I get around £0.30 or something for that sale, which is virtually nothing.
Whereas an article I’m working on as an affiliate is searched at least 2400 times per month. As you can see even on the current affiliate earning I make, multiplying a single sale per 100 users, I’d still make almost £7 per sale which is a hell of a different, as that is just one of the keywords I’m targeting. Also the keywords I’m targeting (which I won’t disclose at this moment). I’m looking to earn a minimum of £50 per referral since it’s more specific targeting that I’m working on.
Semrush has is helping me develop an SEO campaign on the keywords now so I’m busy identifying where to improve on. I’m also going to be producing a weather station page related to my weather station once it’s up and running (finally), as this is another keyword that I’ve strated getting traffic for
My main competitors for keywords in terms of cars will always be big sites like the manufacturers and sellers. These volumes are in the range of 100,000+ searches per month, so as you can see there’s potential by targeting the right keywords.
All this SEO has helped me identify where I’m going wrong, and working on websites like Semrush has also helped me to identify the keywords I need to target or improve. Once I get to the point where I run a Shopify store, I’m going to sell products that I personally make an sell, and then make money as an affiliate by referring traffic on the higher volume keywords.
