I’ve decided that starting from this month, I’m going to start developing my home IT setup, first on the agenda was a network switch. I have the 1 feed coming into my bedroom but would prefer to split it where the server rack would be housed. What better than a 2nd hand Cisco Catalyst 2950 switch
I don’t know how to use it yet, but I’m going to eventually develop my knowledge on it because I want to try building my own home cisco lab to fart around with. Probably get myself a layer 2 switch next 🙂
