After the year we’ve had in 2020 due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year in 2021.
This year is a new stepping stone for the UK. We are now officially out of the EU as of the 1st of January 2021.
A huge global impact took place with plenty of deaths and people suffering job losses because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Fingers crossed this year will be better for everyone. There will be good points, and bad points like every year when people come across.
The best way to recover from them and give yourselves a Happy New year is by approaching it with a positive mindset. You need to think and plan ahead.
Due to the pandemic that occured with Coronavirus, I’m going to focus on my long-term plans.
I don’t particularly ever set myself some New year Resolutions, although I do have some goals that I’d like to achieve this year. Most of them for me personally are generally money orientated. I don’t want to rely on a job as a source of income. The Pandemic with Coronavirus proved to many people what can really happen to your job overnight if situations can be disastrous.
I’ve always been a self reliant person, so I’m going to focus on completing my self reliance. I want to diversify my income streams so I have as many sources of income as possible, and aim to clear down some of my debt.
I predict the wave of unemployment due to Covid is only going to start hitting home in 2021. This will be when the Furlough scheme ends in March/April in line with the new Fiscal year. A lot of employers will be laying people off again with masses of redundancies.
Everytime the UK goes into lock down because of the Pandemic, the economy suffers more and more.
For the UK and every other nation around the world, 2021 will be time to rebuild. New partnerships, new jobs, new incomes and new economies.
Once you are no longer reliant on a job for a source of income, you are in a much better position.
If you are fortunate to walk into a new job in the New Year of 2021, then my suggestion would be to work on building on a savings account/rainy day fund or even just a long-term supply pantry. The pandemic showed how people lack basic common sense when it came to shopping and constantly collecting toilet rolls.
I’ve always had a pantry myself, and I aim to develop it this year whilst finding a new job. The Pantry isn’t for Coronavirus situations, for me, I’ve always been a person with a “Prepper” mentality. It helps me for when things go to shit, because I’ve planned ahead. I mainly want a pantry so I know if I ever go without a job, or source of income, I will at least have food/drink and household supplies available.
My best wishes to all people, all over the world, and a Happy and prosperous 2021 year.
