How much did I earn in March 2026?
No real changes this month, website hosting is still rock solid through hosting services from HostXNow
My retirement plan is still on target to constantly save up, out of my liquid cash, I’m debating about converting it to money and paying into my NS&I account so that I either earn interest on it, or get the chances for more “tickets” on their monthly draw. The downside is the money doesn’t interest at home, but gives me emergency money when needed.
Youfibre have changed their affiliate scheme, so people just need to use my code when signing up. My code is : T969EU
This allows you to earn up between £25 – £100 depending on the service that you sign up with (and me too so it’s win win)
My eBay EPN status, theyr’e back to using their EPN channel at the moment. I wish they’d make up their mind, so it’s going to be easier for me to create links again, just more need to look at the data and see what’s selling good. Adsense is the most popular option for my website, but I don’t like using it for all the crap they inject. Amazon is awesome RPM compared to Google, as long as you get higher quality of sales, but I don’t use it enough. Although I have noticed they’re bringing back their Seller Pages again, so may be able to bundle some links on there.
Website traffic 25k unique users and 43k page views.I think I’ve bit hit by another Google update, or one of the robots has stopped crawling my site as I’ve noticed the count is fluctuating a lot. I also need to get back into the habit of using IndexNow service with Bing and submitting articles with IndexNow, as it helps engines like Bing know what’s on your site.
I’m still working on projects, so they’re just plodding on. Going to be dumping £650 in my bank, so I can start buying parts to build my injection moulding machine. I’d also like a CNC to make my own moulds, or a smaller desktop sized one, but can source them later.

Monthly admin thoughts
It’s been a really late update this month, been putting things off constantly and kept forgetting about updating it, back to done now though. Now much to report really
HEALTH, WEALTH and ALL ELSE
- Health My health continues to plague me lately, had a right miserable week at one point this month, because I somehow managed to trap a nerve in my neck, or lock up a muscle (Trapped nerve I think). So most likely a chiropractor visit required, it was resulting in me having pain in arm. Lack of strength and sensation, and most of all lack of sleep. I was also getting dizzy when looking up, so was a pain trying to concentrate. I ended up seeing a massage therapist and had a deep tissue massage which eased it up a bit and allowed the muscle to heal. I’ll do another repeat visit, and probably see a chiro to straighten out bones back into alignment as my thumb is still a bit deaded
- Wealth, no real changes that I can recall adding. I opened another account with NS&I (Direct Saver I think), where it pays you like 3% per year in interest (out of a £150 deposit, or thereabout I earned £0.34p interest this annual year). Not much, but this is more because I have a low balance (I think this figure is about right) as £150*3% is approx £4.50 divided by 12 months = £0.37. So seems about right. There’s also another account I’m going to open at some point, it’s another direct saver but requires a minimum deposit of £500 per month (or at least in 1 month). So I’m thinking of ignoring my premium bonds one month, and pumping £500 into this account purely for the reason of interest each month on the balance. The way I see it, anything which is earning me interest, regardless of inflation, is slowing down the money I’m losing without interest. I also won £220 on Irish Lottery this month, which was useful as it paid for my massage session, and a couple of purchases from Amazon 🙂
- All Else, nothing done to car yet. Was primarily focussed on doing the floor in the bathroom (which is now done, plus accident). I do now however have to buy a new bonnet lock as I suspect it’s had the usual issues again. The grease worked the last time, but the bonnet started bouncing and got stiff to open when I went to fill the washer fluid the other day. So another repair coming. I never understand what it is with these cars. You shouldn’t need to grease locks constantly so they become free, there seems to be a weird issue (that my Golf had too), where the rear brake calipers seize up and the bonnet locks seize up. So that’s now on the job list. I’ve been meaning to book in some holidays from work anyway, so think it’s about time.
